B’s birthday dinner

For Barbie‘s birthday dinner, we all went down to Fogo de Chão, where Evan is a waiter or server, whatever you call it and was able to give us the special treatment. His boss came out at one point and brought us this amazing steak that was grilled on top of a salt stone. It was pretty cool. It was a yummy dinner and I definitely want to take Curtis there. 

New rug!

Granty and I put the finishing touches on the bottom area with a new rug and I love it so much!!! It turned out so good and now all I wanna do is hang out down there, but we need a new couch lol

Bye Mia!

Mia is leaving us to move to Pittsburgh and we are going to miss her like crazy. A bunch of people came over today and we had a goodbye party in my backyard for her. I’m loving my new area and thanks to Granty it looks so pretty.

Relay Triathlon

 

Barbie, Candy, and I did a relay triathlon this year. I swam, Barbie did the bike, and Candy did the run. It was so fun to still be a part of it and get to do my favorite part, swimming. I hope we continue doing this yearly as I know all of us really loved it

I am so excited as today we finally got Air conditioning for the house! It will be so wonderful to not have a bedroom that is so hot every night. I feel so lucky!!!

Zoey wanted to have a picnic with me at the park today and it was so meaningful to me. We needed a day together and I’m so glad we got to do this.

Potlatch

Another successful year with the fam! It’s crazy how big Camden is getting!?!?! 

New hot tub

We got a new hot tub a couple weeks ago and Zoey and I are loving it! We’ve already used it a handful of times and I can’t wait to use it all fall. It’s hard to hear the TV over the bubbles so we might need to figure out something there since it’s so fun watching a show from it. 

Molly’s Dad’s funeral

Jane flew into town and the two of us drove up to Coeur d’Alene to be there for Molly for her dad‘s funeral. The day before we got to hang out on the boat, meet some of her family and get to give Molly some love and help for prepping for the funeral. The location they had was an amazing location for the funeral and they did a wonderful job. It’s so tough to lose someone and I can’t even imagine it being your dad. I’m not ready for that…..

Jane and drove back together and it was so good to be with her. We had some really good needed talks, both of us and my Poo bucket is full. I miss her so much, all the time!

Poor Trucker

Poor Trucker got neutered today, but he is hanging in there and healing nicely. He can’t wait to get back to hanging out in the shade garden. 😂

Happy 4th

This year we all walked down to the park to watch the parade and then headed over to Gigi and Papa‘s for the fireworks show! Another fun and relaxing Fourth of July!!!! 

Pergola is finished!

I am so excited and proud of what Curtis and I built together. It is going to be so fun to entertain out there. I can’t wait to have our first party!

Brinks painting

So I got my picture ready to paint of Brinks and I realized I don’t have any of my watercolor brushes. So I gotta track those down and then I’m excited to paint my sweet Brinks. ❤️

Painting again

Monique wanted a picture for her house using these colors so I got to paint her a fun abstract painting for her house. I hope she loves it.

Logo fun

So I did my dad‘s PSWM logo years ago and now they need a logo similar for another business. We kept the S washer look and replaced the P to the state of Idaho. I’m happy the way it turned out and it was super fun to do. Always fun to have a little side creative project. 

Last day of school

Zoey is so excited for her last day of school and so are we! We really enjoyed Mrs Brunell and third grade. It’s been good for the kids to be back in school and now we are ready to have fun this summer!

Gymnastics

Zoey is still enjoying gymnastics and getting stronger each week. Sometimes I wonder if she really enjoys it. Half the time she is goofing off and not taking it seriously so we’ll see if we sign up again for next session.

Parents in choir

My parents are just the cutest! They sang in a little chorus at church and we all went to go watch them. They actually did really good and we were all super proud. 

School speech

Zoey gave a report in front of class on Harriet Tubman and wanted to dress like her. I’m so proud of her for working so hard and really learning the true story of her amazing story.
