Helpers

Last night Monique and the girls all had fun helping us clean in the new house. ;-) So far we have almost painted every inch of our new house and are in the process of cleaning and organizing. One things for sure is that I'm getting sick of painting.

We've been lucky to have such awesome friends and family who have come over numerous times to help us. I can't imagine doing it alone. We are so blessed! Thanks everyone!!!

Wedding hunting again

This weekend Curtis and I went wedding camping spot looking again. It was a fun and beautiful trip through the Olympic Peninsula together. We checked out Hurricane Ridge, Olympic National Park, Sol Duc Hot Springs, and Lake Quinault. Still nothing :-( Our next spot we want to check out is around Mt. Rainier. Hopefully we can find something. pictures

Fall colors

Driving home from work one day I passed a gorgeous display of fall trees that were turning orange, red, brown. It was the most beautiful display I've even seen...these pictures don't even do it justice. pictures

Wedding hunting

Curtis and I are starting to look for the perfect camping place to have our wedding. We took the whole weekend and drove through the north cascade highway up to Winthrop. We checked out Lake Pearrygin and Sun Mountain Lodge. We loved the place but they had no available slots for next summer. We will continue to look more. I know our spot is out there somewhere! :-) pictures

May you rest in peace

We said goodbye to my Grammie today in Billings and put her to rest next to my Grandpa. It has been one of the hardest day's of my life. I had one of the best Grammie's in the world and I will miss her forever.

Later my mom took us around her hometown to show places where she, Grammie, and Grandpa lived, went to school, church, and more. It was fun to see all that.

This weekend has been healing for our family but also very tough. It will take me some time to grieve. pictures

Lopez Family Trip

As always, Curtis and I enjoyed our time at Lopez Island with his family. We brought his nieces again plus little Anthony and they all had a blast. We did lots of fishing, boating, went to Friday Harbor for ice cream, and lots of fire time. I was relaxed and rested by the time we left. Can't wait for next year!!! pictures

My dear sweet Grammie

This post is very hard to write. My Grammie passed away on July 27th (two days after her 88th birthday) and things have been very rough. I'm sad to see her go but I know she is in a better place and not in any pain anymore. We will have a funeral here in Seattle and then another one in Montana. I love my Grammie so much and will miss her EVERY day. Goodbye my sweet little Grammie...
