Halloween

Thankfully, I had already decorated for Halloween and Zoey‘s outfit was ready to go before I got sick! I was sad I didn’t get to take her around for all the festivities, but she still had a good Halloween. I’m totally digging the blue hair!!!

Covid time

Well, it happened, I got Covid from Zoey…..which I pretty much knew was going to happen. I am ready to take it on, even though I’m pretty stressed out as you can tell by all of my remedies. Hopefully, it will pass quickly 🙏

Missed the game

I was supposed to take Evan to the football game but Zoey got Covid so Hugo was able to go with them instead and they had a really good time. I missed being able to be there with him, but I will make it happen another time. Don’t I have handsome nephews? Go HAWKS!!!

BFF’s

These girls are inseparable and always wanting to wear the same clothes. I have a feeling these two girls are going to be friends forever. I so thankful we have Anna in our lives and her family! 

My funny girl

After an uncomfortable surgery yesterday and not feeling the best, my daughter always knows how to make me smile! Love that girl to pieces 😍

Not melanoma

I got called back to the doctors from a suspicious mole. What they originally took off wasn’t melanoma, but it had suspicious cells that they wanted to take more out just to be safe. I’m glad they are doing what they need to, but this is getting really old. Thankful though it wasn’t melanoma!!!

Hunting for pumpkins

Today we had fun at the pumpkin patch with Amy, Camryn and the twins. Even though the pumpkins are way more expensive at the patch, it’s always more fun to go do that than get them at the grocery store. Zoey’s probably not gonna want to do this much longer so I’m enjoying it while it lasts! 

Liberty drill camp

Zoey participated in a drill camp with liberty high school girls. They basically learned a dance in a few hours and then performed it at the high school on junior night before the football game. They are so cute! 😍

Gymnastics

Zoey took a gymnastics class for a week camp and had a blast. I’m not sure if gymnastics is her thing yet but she had fun. 

Special visitor

My dear friend, Lauren came to visit me today. It was so good to see her and I’ve missed her since she’s moved away, but she is enjoying Montana and wants me to come visit her. Hopefully one of these days I can make it out there. 

New slide

Well, we did it! We bought a slide and installed it tonight and I think Zoey loves it. I hope her and her friends get a lot of use out of this because she ultimately wanted a trampoline but I said no, we’ll get you a slide instead.

Annual girls away Hawks game

Another successful annual girls trip!!! This year was in Indianapolis to watch the Colts play the Seahawks. Candy and I got in a day early, to go to Indianapolis 500 and watch a Porsche race. It was one of the coolest things we had ever seen. The amount of noise and wind and adrenaline when those cars came around almost brought tears to my eyes. It was so cool!!!

Game day was amazing as always and me and the girls had a blast. It was so good to have Jane and Kara there as I miss them so much. 

Jane and Kara left early that next day and Candy and I had time to hit the zoo and get amazing pizza before heading home ourselves. I just love these girls trips, I always feel so fulfilled after. I’m already looking forward to next year!!! 😍🏈💙💚 GO HAWKS!!!!!!!

Tub leak

After my bath tonight, we noticed that water started dripping in the entryway. It was horrible at first and Curtis had to cut a hole in the ceiling and it was quite the mess. He says it’s not gonna be that hard to fix so I’m hoping that’s the case. Thank goodness for a husband that is super handy!!!

Hike time!

Went on a fun hike with the Montgomery‘s to Lake Talapus. It’s an easy hike for kids and we all had a blast! Love spending time in the sun and with friends. 

Starting third grade

Zoey got to go back to school today and start third grade with masks on. I’m so glad that she got to go back to school but this whole thing will be interesting to see how it goes. I can’t imagine kids keeping their masks on all day but I’m just happy we are somewhat getting back to normal.
