We decided to go to a game with the Reyes's even though they are 49er fans and they are brainwashing Britt!!!! We had a blast and GO HAWKS!!!!!!

Christmas Tree hunting

Our yearly Christmas Tree hunting trip was a blast with Brinks. He loved tromping in the deep snow and it didn't even slow him down when the hard snow started scratching up his legs and he started bleeding. We finally had to put him in the back of the truck since he was shaking and bleeding. I guess that's what 'parents' have to do! :) pictures

First snow in the new house!

Drawing Auntie

Mom, Lisa, Lily, and Mia all came with me to look for a wedding dress. While I was trying them on Lily and Mia were drawing me in the different dresses. It was super cute! I found this amazing dress but it was out of my price range for sure....the hunt for the perfect dress continues!

Issaquah River Days

Curtis and I took Mia, Hugo, and Brinks to Issaquah River Days. We had a blast and the kids loved their icecream cones. While we were there they had a booth for BECU so we decided to get a joint account. I'm excited :)

4th Annual Away Seahawks Game

Brinks 1st camping trip!

On our first camping trip as a "family" Brinks was in heaven sleeping right between us and I have to admit I loved it too. Normally he's not much of cuddle dude but he wanted to stay warm :) He did bark most of the night at every little noise out though...hopefully next camping trip will be better. Lopez Island

This year I wasn't able to go for the whole weekend. Freya would be too much with the kids to come to Lopez so I stayed home. Just for one day, Brinks and I came up with Monique, Mary, and Lily. It was nice to be there for at least the day plus Brinks had his first boat ride and did pretty good. Curtis and the girls had a good time and I was glad I got to see everyone. picture

Seahawks training camp

This year we went to training camp with Andrea and John. Curtis's Aunt and Uncle were there and we ran into Erik and Lathan. Good times! :) As always I'm getting really excited for the season to start.....I just LOVE football!!!!! pictures

Poor Freya

Freya gave us a scare last night. A few days after getting spade she got a tear in her incision and started bleeding out and we had to rush her to the 24hour vet. Everything is better now but she has to wear this silly cone to stop her from trying to remove her bandages or lick her wounds. Hopefully she will heal soon and start to feel better. I feel so bad for her....poor little Freya!

Jody's Wedding

4th of July

This year Curtis and I went to Idaho with Ray and Joanne for Forth of July. We camped, relaxed, floated down the Snake River, and didn't see one firework but it was one of our best fourth yet! Only sad part about the weekend was that I left my bag of clothes at home and only had the clothes on my back to wear all weekend. It ended up being a funny mistake after I calmed down and started wearing Curtis's clothes :)

One night one of Ray's friends did a pork tenderloin wrapped in a pork belly for dinner. It was crazy....a rotisserie in a campfire pit! We had fun watching it cook all day and it smelled fantastic. Best food I've ever eaten on a camping trip. What a fun weekend!!! pictures

Special day with Mia

After Mia's ballet show today I took her to Build a Bear for our special time. We had a blast and it was so funny how she picked her bears clothes and the song for inside. I love my sweet little Mia!!!

VEGAS!!!!

For Mother's Day Amy, Stacy, and I decided to go to Vegas! We had such a blast partying and relaxing. Amy's friend Michele lives down there and took us to all the good places to eat and got us into some fun night clubs. The last night we were there we went to see Barry Manilow in concert, hilarious!

Curtis and I adopted two rescue pups named Brinks and Freya. Aren't they just the cutest things ever! I'm already falling in love with both of them and it's only been two days :) They are mutts: part lab, mastiff, and boxer. They are going to be so much fun I just know it!!!! More pictures

Sisters Weekend

Sister's weekend was amazing! It was Lisa's 40th birthday this year so we took her to Leavenworth. We spent all day taking her to thrift stores (her favorite thing to do) and the having a special dinner. It was fun spending the whole weekend with my sister's and can't wait for B's 40th!!! :) More pictures

Mariner's Opening Day

What a fun day! Amy, Stacy, and I took a little detour before heading to the game and didn't make it til 4th inning. The boys were mad at us but we had a blast!!!! GO Mariner's!!!!

Manny

I went to see the cute little Manny last night and what a sweetheart! Kori and Eddie are doing good...just tired. I'm so happy for them and can't wait to watch him grow up :-) Congrats guys!

Cake Decorating - Final

It was my last class for Cake Decorating and we were told to create whatever we want. So of course I chose to make a Seahawks cake. How crazy cool is that! I also had fun with the inside. It had a bottom level of vanilla with white chocolate chips, then a middle filling of blue icing, and then a green died cake layer. It looked so cool and perfect Hawks colors!


Candy is now trying to talk me into taking the next level....we shall see :-)

Housewarming Party

Our Housewarming Party came and went so fast but what a wonderful and fun time it was! Curtis and I were blown away with how many people came (about 60) and all the lovely thing they brought for us...thank you so much everyone!

Now I think both Curtis and I feel like we can relax. All the final touches are done around the house and we need a break. What a wonderful home we have created! I can't wait to make many more memories here!!!

Preperation for our Housewarming Party

Since I liked decorating cupcake so much i decided to make a bunch for our party. Candy and I spent hours baking, frosting, and decorating Valentine's cupcakes. We had a blast and they are so adorable! I'm getting excited for our party and of course I have a bunch of last minute touches to add.

Cake Decorating - Class 4

So I wasn't sure what to do for Valentine's Day class theme because I'm so not girly like that. I finally chose to cut out the cakes into X's and O's and then decorate them. It was super hard to ice since I cut the sides...now I see why people make all the molds for. Not my favorite decorating job.
