Goodbye Tish
We threw a goodbye party for Tish and it was a success. Curtis and his coworkers planned food, games and a gag gift. They also surprised her with her favorite picture from work and hid it behind the garage door. She was in tears by the end of the party. So glad we were able to host! pictures

Sleepovers and birthdays
Zoey had her first friend, Ryker over for a sleepover and it was pretty cute. They had pizza and played games and then went to bed. The life of a 4 year old :)
After we took him home we went to Lily's birthday bowling party and she ended up having a sleepover at Lily's. Curtis and I got a surprise night together...LOVE those!

Solar eclipse
Went with some of the family to The Museum of Flight to watch the Solar Eclipse before work. Wow, how amazing was that. I was nervous most the time to make sure the glasses were on Zoey right but it was worth all the fuss. When it was covered it was crazy how cold it got...so glad we got to experience that! pictures

Ears pierced!
Zoey got her ears pierced today and it was all her idea as she has been asking me to take her for the last month. She only cried for a bit and was super brave. I've never seen her more proud and confident about herself. She had an extra little bounce in her step...if that is even possible. lol

Yokers family vacation
This year's family trip was a good and a mellow one. We rented a large house on the beach and spent our whole time at the beach or doing puzzles and games. I convinced the family to help me build the biggest sandcastle we could and it was a lot of fun. After we finished Curtis had the idea to take a time-lapse of the waves destroying it. It turned out awesome! Another family vacation in the books :) pictures
