Costume Day

Since Friday was our work Halloween party and Blue Friday I decided to kill two birds with one stone and go all out as a 12th fan! I even decorated my desk :) Zoey just wanted to be a princess and had fun at dance class with Kira. Excited for tomorrow and ticker treating!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we took Zoey to the Pumpkin Patch out in Enumclaw and the Herrera's got to come with us. I was impressed with this place and they had a ton of fun things to do. We all had a blast! Curtis scheduled a picture appointment for us and we got some family pictures there too. I don't think Zoey can get any cuter :) pictures

After we left we headed over to Jane's house to see Lola and Zoey got to hold her for the first time. She was so gentle and I could tell that was really special for her. I can't believe Lola still has her red hair, love it!

Buddies!

On Curtis's Friday off he took Zoey on a picnic and she thought that was the coolest thing ever! Best dad in world :)

Jeah Senior pics

Jeah is a senior this year and asked me if I could take her pictures. Of course I did and we had a blast doing it. We took them down at Coulon and the weather thankfully held up for us. It had been raining all morning, stopped when we got there and started dumping at our last picture location. What a beautiful and amaing young women Jeah has grown into and I can't wait to see where life takes her. pictures

Phil and Sarika

Work was extra fun this week as both Phil and Sarika were in town. We are launching our new recipe pages soon so it was good to have them here. I wish I got to see them more often, I miss working with them on daily basis....I don't miss NYC though :)

Mom to Hawks game

For Thursday night football I took my mom to her first NFL football game. She had a blast and enjoyed seeing what happens on the field during commercials. It was fun be able to experience this special event for her together :) 

We had a few bumps getting into the stadium though as I forgot to tell her that she couldn't bring a bag or purse so we had to check her bag, buy a clear one, waited in the wrong line (security told us wrong) and almost missed the kick off. I was so mad at security because they said my mom could fold up her empty bag and put it into the clear plastic bag but when we got to the front of the line they said sorry no and we had to go wait in the bag check line and waisted all that time. All said and done we had a blast together! GO HAWKS!!!

Issaquah Salmon Day's

Curtis and I took Zoey to Salmon Day's with her class to watch the parade and only a few people showed up. We still had fun and after the parade was over we took Zoey on some rides! She LOVED all of them and was a little board with the ferris wheel ;) She is going to love rides just like her daddy! pictures

David Moffat

David, Curtis's uncle passed away suddenly last week. He was an amazing man, loved by all and will be deeply missed. Today the Moffat family put on an amazing funeral service to honor him. Curtis got up and spoke about some of his memories with him and it brought tears to my eyes. After the funeral the family went to grab some food and to celebrate David together. We love you David!

First home game

Can't believe football season is already here, it still feels like summer. This year is going to be fun and I'm ready to scream on defense! GO HAWKS!!!

Lola is here!

Evan and Hugo's birthday

My nephews are getting so big it's crazy! Evan is now 15, Hugo is 9 and they both are incredibly sweet boys. Happy birthday guys, I love you both so much! pictures

Curly hair girl

Curtis and I took Zoey to the zoo for something special. I just love hanging out as a family and we have some of the best times together. Zoey's hair by the way is getting even curlier as time goes by it is nuts. I am having a hard time brushing through it and I think she might need a haircut soon.

Daddy/Daughter weekend

While I was gone on my girls trip Curtis and Zoey had a fun weekend. He took her to a fair and Grandma and Grandpa's for the Hawks game. It makes me so happy to see him enjoy spending time with her and taking her to new places. pictures
