Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at the Lake House and what an adventure that turned out to be. Curtis made a Prime Rib and we all cooked things to go along with it. After we ate Mike and I took a spin on the lake in the row boat while Lily, Mia and Zoey were on the paddle boat...that didn't last long. While we were out there it started to snow and it never stopped. By the time we were ready to leave we almost didn't make it out and some of us got stuck. Playdate with Amelia & Elsa

We went to the Chang's for a playdayte and there house was amazing, right on the water! I'm so excited Zoey has a friend that we enjoy getting together. Hope we stay friends as time goes on.

Gingerbread houses - Teddy bear room - Farris Wheel

The Sweens and us went downtown for a fun filled day. We started at the Gingerbread houses which were pretty cool and it was fun to see what the kids came up with. Then we headed over to the Teddy bear room and wasn't that impressed but now I know what people are talking about. Then over to the Farris Wheel and it was perfect that Taylor Smith was the song that played. After we finished our festivities I took them all up to the top of Columbia Tower and then we went to have lunch at McD's in Issaquah. Everyone had such a fun time I don't think we wanted to end. Zoey and I dropped them off and had a lazy afternoon together. I wish I could always be on vacation like this!!! pictures

Work Holiday party

This could be our last Christmas party since who knows how much longer we have there. I decided to go just for this reason since it felt dumb to drive downtown during my vacation. It was a fun night though and I'm so glad I went. Even though there is about 25 of us left come April it's still a good group of people! I've been so lucky for so many years to be a part of this! pictures

I chopped off my hair!

When I asked Curtis what I should do with my hair he said, "Go short" and so I did :) I think I'm going to like it! Zoey came with me and she also got her hair cut. Girl day, LOVE IT!!!!

Handles Messiah

The whole Yokers clan went to listen to Handles Messiah but it was too much for Zoey to sit still. It was worth a shot but we ended up listening to the whole thing from the lobby. Mia hung out with us for a bit so that broke things up a bit. It was still a fun day :) pictures

Last day of school

For Zoey's last day of school they put on a sing-along at school and the kids have been practicing for weeks. Some of the songs I don't even know but I just love how they expose her to so much there. Zoey is super excited for her last day and so am I as we both have off until Jan 2nd!!!! Here we come winter break! :) video

Pancakes with Santa & wagon rides

This morning we all went down to the firehouse for pancakes with Santa. It's a fun tradition that the local firehouse has been doing since we moved here. The Santa wasn't the best but Zoey told him that she wanted a sign for door that said "Zoey's Room" and he said and "keep out, right"! SANTA!!! Oh well, now I'll have to come up with a new sign for her room.

Shawn had decorated his wagon with lots of lights and the girls went around the block in it and had a blast! What a fun thing to do and it's getting me all ready for the festivities! I'm getting excited for Christmas, I just love this time of the year :) pictures

Candy asked Curtis if he could take an arial shot of the kids at school standing in the initials of a teach they lost. Of course he was happy to do it and it was also an excuse for him to use his drone. They were super happy with the shot he got...pretty awesome!

Snowflake Lane

Monique and I planned to take the kids to see Snowflake Lane in Bellevue and have dinner beforehand at the Cheesecake factory. Right before we finished dinner we could see it getting ready to start outside so we had the guys pay up and the girls and I went outside to get in line. It was a super fun show and we all enjoyed ourselves. Love impromptu days like today! pictures

Hawks and Santa

Took Mike to the game today and we had a blast. We ran into his neighbors and tailgated with them for awhile, then on our way into the stadium we ran into Santa, then Jason and crew. They gave us some infused gummy bears for the game and they were pretty amazing!!! The game was also amazing and so glad we won!!!! Close one....GO HAWKS!!!

All decorated and ready for Christmas

This year I got enough manger items to open one each day and then open baby Jesus at Christmas. I'm so excited and we've already opened 3! Our tree this year is from Costco and we got a bunch of decorations from Ellen, blowups and Santa's. Our house is pretty amazing this year I have to say and it brings me so much joy to look at the blow-up while I wash dishes and to see my dear and fawn when I pull into the driveway each night. It's a bunch of work getting it all up but I just love it so much!!!
