NYC trip

So Shezad came to town last week and told us that we needed to come to NYC once a month. Reason being is that he hopes it will help us keep our jobs since we won't move to NYC. It was a fun and hard trip saying goodbye to Maria and the weirdness of what's going on. It's especially hard for Zoey, she hates it when I leave... pictures

Packed weekend

Started the weekend off with a morning bike rid, then off to the Pacific Science Center, more bike riding and then finished it off with Olive's birthday party at the bouncy house. I'm getting ready to head off to NYC for a work trip so I hope this fills Zoey up with lots of Mommy time. I'm going to miss her. pictures

New bike

Zoey got a new bike last week and she is loving it. I'm surprised at how well she is going on it and before you know it I bet she will doing tricks :) Go Zoey Go!!!

NEW CAR!!!!

It's hard to say goodbye to the Audi but hello to my new Highlander! What a beautiful SUV and we hope that it lasts through Zoey's graduation :) Can't wait to take it on our first road trip.

SURPRISE!!!

We threw a surprise birthday party for Jrea for her 21st birthday and it was actually a surprise. A ton of people showed up and I'm so glad it was a success. I can't believe she is that old already...time fly's! pictures

Painting again

I decided to paint this weekend and it felt so good! It was fun to explore the abstract idea and they need more work but what fun. I've missed being creative and definitely need to do that again!

Happy V-Day & Birthday party

This year Zoey's school went to the retirement community and passed out Valentine's cards. Zoey was a bit shy at first but then enjoyed it. At the end they all sang for them and it was super cute. What a great exposure for these kids. video

That night we went to an old co-works (Shipra) daughters birthday party. Zoey had a blast playing at the fun house and made a friend. She is growing up so fast!

Concert with friends

Candy, Lisa, Amy and I all went to the Tacoma Dome for the Katie Perry concert. We had a total blast and it was so fun to have a night out! pictures

Tubing at Snoqualmie

Zoey got invited to the neighbors (Anna & David) birthday party at Snoqualmie Pass. They got us enter tubing tickets and what a blast that was. Such a good idea for a winter birthday party! Curtis and I had just as much fun as Zoey did :) pictures

Biking on a Holiday

Zoey, Molly and I all went biking down the Cedar River trail since it wasn't raining. We started off strong but Zoey got tired towards the end. I think she is still weak from being sick and it might've been a bit much for her but she did a wonderful job of pushing through and finishing! Nice work Zozo! xoxo pictures

Molly took Zoey to pottery painting and she loved. It was a bit hard for her that she couldn't take it with her but once she gets it back she is going to love it! Thanks Molly :)

Off to the docs

I took Zoey to the docs since she had a fever of 104 all day. They said if they catch the flu in time there was something they could give her so off we went. She tested positive for the flu A and prescribed a treatment but EVERY pharmacy in Renton/Issaquah was out. I guess everyone has the flu right now! CRAZY!

The flu

So first thing that happens this year is that I get sick with the flu....and it's a bad one! Have had the flu for 5 days now and gave it to Zoey and now Curtis has it. So much for wanting a healthy 2018 but maybe this will be it for the year and we are getting it out of the way....fingers crossed!!!!!

Birthday celebration at school

Every year at Zoey's school they do a birthday celebration for each kid. We bring a picture and fun facts about Zoey for each year and a snack for all the kids. Her teacher Emily talks about Zoey's each year and then sings a song and lights a candle. It's a pretty cute tradition. Zoey was shy this year and it took a bit for her to want to show her pictures but after a few years she wanted to show her pictures. I was proud of her for getting up the courage.
