Hood Canal AGAIN!!!

Back to the canal this weekend but this time with old diving friends of Curtis's Ray and Jo and it was super relaxing! Basically Zoey and the girls (Renee and Erin) spent the whole time in the water playing on the dock and I stayed on the porch in the sun and watched. The girls had such a blast together and they even got Curtis and Ray to come play :)

One day Curtis, Zoey and I took out the kayaks and we ended up passing the house on the way back and did a 3mile excursion instead of a mile one, oops ;) Can't wait to go back!

New art and garage!

Curtis and I have been working so hard on the house lately and it been so exciting to see it looking so good and clean. I finished an abstract art for the wall and Curtis organized the garage. WOW, things are looking good :) 

Puppy :)

We just picked our puppy today and we chose orange. There were 7 puppies to pick from and this was the owners favorite and was the one we had been eyeing the whole time. We are either going to call him Jasper or Trucker, we are going to let Curtis decide and we might not decide until we pick him up next weekend. We are so excited to get him!!!

Happy 4th of July

This year we decided to go to the Canal with Cameryn's family as we normally like to stay home but since everything in our neighborhood was cancelled it made sense. We all had a fun time and the weather was amazing! Good times and fun memories :)

RV camping

We had a blast at Whispering Pines with Curtis's family. Camping is basically the only thing you can do right now that is "safe" during covid crap....I'm so done with this!

S'mores birthday

This year was a bad year for having a birthday party so I decided to just invite family and a few friends for a social distant backyard fire and s'mores. It was so good to see everyone and I'm so lucky to have all of them in my life! Love you all xoxoxoxo

Creative kids

The kids had so much fun directing and making this slow-mo video! Good times :)

Poor Lily

Lily was helping me out and taking Zoey for the day so I could get some important work done and she fell down our stairs on the back deck and messed her leg up BAD. I felt so horrible and hope it heals fast and nothing is broken or sprained.

Computer room makeover

I finally painted my computer/guest room and I absolutely love it! Now that I have to work from home all the time it so soothing to walk into this room now. So happy how it turned out :)

Chopaka Lake

Curtis took my Dad this year with him to Chopaka and it was a different type of trip since covid prevented them from going in April and they had to wait till it opened up in June. It was a warmer trip with lots of mosquitos and the fishing was still good. A successful and relaxing trip for the both of them.

New fire pit :) YAHHH

I got an award with work that came with some money so Curtis and I decided to purchase a fire pit for the back yard and we are loving it! We have had a fire almost every night and it's so fun to feel like we are getting away in our own backyard. 

Being that we are going to need lots of wood now, Curtis built a wood shed. Isn't he just the coolest husband EVER!?!?! We are set for the summer and I can't wait for all the memories to come!!! :)

"Date" night

Today Curtis and I went on a "date" to Home Depot. This was our first time out of the house together since covid and it was so much fun! I've miss having dates with my husband....I want life to go back to normal!

Bike light

We let Zoey stay up late tonight so she could try out her new bike lights and she is loving it! I'm so glad she likes them and now she wants to stay up late EVERY night! lol

Porch is "finished"

For Mother's Day this year I bought myself a pot for my front porch that I really feel finished it! I love it so much!!! :) What a fabulous day!

Bike jumps

Thank goodness for the bike jumps that Curtis made on his weeks home! They provide hours of entertainment outside and easy to stay 6 feet apart :)
