Evan's 1st NFL game!

Now that Evan is old enough I got to take him to his first NFL game and he LOVED it!!!!! We had a blast and I can't believe he is taller that me now. He grows so fast!!! pictures

VEGAS!!!

After the Marines, Curtis and Ty had not seen each other and it has been about 15 years since they finished their service!!!! We planned a trip to meet Ty and his wife Tricia in Vegas and we had a blast with them! Tricia and I had a fun time listening to all the stories of when they served together. We all had a good time and hope to meet up with them before another 15 years pass! pictures

Golfing fun

For work we had a golf tournament and I did really good. Normally I'm horrible at golfing and I get board but not this time. Being pregnant and sober I was hitting the long ball and having a blast! I got the closest to the hole and longest drive for the ladies! My team was so proud of me. I told Curtis we should go golfing again before I have Zoey ;) lol pictures and proof

Amy's birthday - Hood Canal

We had a fun weekend with Amy and her friends for her birthday at Hood Canal. It was my first party weekend with not being able to drink and I still had fun! :) pictures

1st Anniversary - Victoria

Curtis and I had a wonderful, special and relaxing time in Victoria for our anniversary. We took a sea plane on the way over and the clipper on the way back. Highlights were hanging out with Curtis, of course, the plane ride and the bug zoo! Curtis held a tarantula and I held a scorpion...it was crazy! Poor Brinks

So he ended up having stitches on his leg and wasn't feeling so good when we brought him home. They had to put him down to do the stitches so he was all groggy and drugged up. He could hardly stand up and couldn't keep his tongue in his mouth. It was too funny not to take a video!

One year ago

A year ago today I got to marry my best friend! It was the best day of my life and I will never forget it. This year has been amazing and I'm so excited for the next years adventure. Love you today, tomorrow, and forever Curtis!!!

Silly dog

Curtis and I were in the garage working when Brinks saw a deer and took off after him before we could stop him. It took about 15min to find him and when we did he had a big gouge on the back of his foot. We cleaned the cut out from rocks and dirt and bandaged it up. It didn't seem to bother him at all but once the adrenaline wore off he's been limping around the house. Hope the deer chase was worth it Brinks! :)

Busy day + Concert

All morning and afternoon Curtis and I worked on the bedroom. It is almost done and I'm having a hard time waiting. Everything is looks so good! We have just a bunch of little things to do so it always takes more time than you think. I'm hoping we will finish it this weekend! Go Curtis go!!!!

Later that night was date night with Curtis and we had a fabulous time going to see Florence + the Machine at the White River Amphitheater. She is just amazing in concert and both Curtis and I love her! What a wonderful day!!!

Work changes

I now officially work for NBCNews.com instead of msnbc.com. It is going to take some time to get used to it but I'm excited for what's to come. Someone's wife made us peacock cupcakes for the special day. I'm very impressed with her skills!

My glass bowl

Curtis picked up my glass bowl that I made and it turned out awesome! Not sure where I'm going to put it but maybe in the LZ's room?!?!?! Thanks again sister's for the awesome gift!
