Heading home

We are all checked out from the hospital and get to head home! Four crews came to our house yesterday to finish cleaning everything so that we could go home instead of back to the hotel. I can't believe they did that for us, so extremely nice of them. I'm excited and nervous to be going home though. I'm officially a mom now!!!

Zoey's first bath wasn't a happy one. I'm sure she was confused as to what was going on and I hated hearing her cry! :(

Our sweet little girl is here! Everything went well, she is a healthy baby and only a 13 hours delivery. I'm EXHAUSTED! That is the hardest thing I've ever done! Pictures of her first two days

All checked into the hospital and ready to start the process of labor! My water had broke like Barbie thought so they have to give me pitocin since my body hasn't started. Hopefully everything goes okay. Looks like Zoey is coming before the 1st!!! Three months off and a free delivery but still in a hotel with a torn apart house. Oh well, I'm excited to meet my little girl!!!!

Heading to the hospital

Today I felt like something was off and I was leaking a bit. I was chatting with B on my way home from work and she said I need to go to the hospital to get checked out because that is how she started labor with Mia. So off I go!!! Oh man, could she really be two weeks early????

Christmas

We were exhausted this year when we got to Jay and Mary's for Christmas but we had a good time and now it's time for bed! pictures

Unsalvageable items

So far this is how much is getting thrown away. If it's cheaper to buy than clean it is considered unsalvageable items. Most of it is kitchen food but some is Zoey's stuff that I need to reorder right away. Hopefully I can get it all done before she gets here!

Christmas Eve

We had Christmas this year at Lisa's and I wasn't able to enjoy it much as we went back and forth to our house as they had a crew working. I can't believe this is happening right now! Merry Christmas to us!!!

Hotel life

So it's the day before Christmas Eve and we have been in a hotel for two days now and I'm due in three weeks. I just hope Zoey doesn't come early so I can get the house back in order first before she gets here. The last we heard was that it will be another week until we can get back into the house. Oh man, this just sucks :( I'm trying to stay positive but I'm pretty exhausted to do much with my big belly now.

Disaster house

So it turns out protein smoke damage is very hard to clean and get rid of the smell. I called our insurance and had to open up a claim to fix the damage of up to $35,000! Our house is in total shambles as a company takes apart every room in the house to clean EVERYTHING! Even all the clothes, shoes, rugs, bedding, coats, etc have to be professionally cleaned. Zoey's room is now totally taken apart and half of her things are unsalvageable (toys, diapers, wipes, mattace, anything they can't clean). This disaster keeps getting worse :(

Brinks NO!!!!

So last night Brinks almost started a fire in our house. There was a pan of bacon grease on the stove and he went to investigate and turned the range on. What are the odds that he would turn the exact range the pan was on. We had gone to Jody and Cary's house for dinner and were only gone for a few hours or it could've been worse. When we got home the whole house was filled with smoke and Brinks was freaking out! I hope he is okay and that his lungs are not damaged. Curtis opened all the windows and I stayed the night at Barbies and he stayed in the man cave with Brinks. Not sure what were going to do but Curtis thinks he can take care of it himself. This is just horrible!!!

Curtis's work threw him a shower and how fitting that they got him our pump! That was so very sweet of them to do that! Thanks everyone!!!

Going to the games is getting harder but I'm still doing it. Curtis drops me off at the door and I take the elevator up to the 300 level while he parks and we get to our seats at the same time! Thanks baby for making it easier for me!

Old tickets

Over the years Curtis has saved all of his ticket stubs from different sporting events. He even kept the Sonics ticket from our first date. Last night he put a bunch of them in frames and hung it in the man cave. How awesome is that!!! Now I need to get him more frames so he can do the rest of them.

My sister's and mom threw a baby shower for me and it was fantastic! It was open house style and that made it more for me and I think everyone enjoyed it too. Mia's weekend

What a blast we had with Mia! We took her to dinner at the Coho on Friday night and Saturday to breakfast by the river, the Zoo Farm, a movie, and then to the Family Fun Center on Sunday. I can't believe how big she is getting! Love you to pieces Mia. pictures

Bill Cosby

Barbie, Kriss, Curtis and I all went to see Bill Cosby at Benaroya Hall and it was awesome! I was laughing so hard I was crying :) He still has it at age 75!!! What a fun night!

Fishing in the snow

Curtis had a good time fishing the Yakima River with his uncles and cousins. He tied for the most fish but caught the biggest fish. Nice work baby!!!

Surprise Daddy

For Daddy's birthday Sheila with a little help from the rest of us surprised Dad with a bunch of photos for his shop. Lily's weekend

It was Lily's special weekend with us and we took her to Shipwreck beads in Lacy and then to Salmon Day's in Issaquah. That night Lily spent the whole night beading and Lisa tells me she still does it every night. What a fun weekend together and I can't believe how big she is getting. pictures

St Louis

Jane, Molly and I all went to St Louis to watch the Seahawks play and look for wedding dresses for Jane. It was such a wonderful weekend despite the fact that the Hawks lost. We also got to do some site seeing and go to the top of the arch. Jane didn't enjoy the ride up. This is going to be the last out of state trip for Zoey and I until I give birth. Flying isn't the easiest thing to do pregnant! Thanks for an awesome trip ladies!!!! pictures

Zoey - 24 weeks

Zoey is growing at a good pace and is at 75 percentile! I got to see her stick her tongue out, yawn and smile! I was the coolest thing EVER! Now I need to hurry up and get her room ready because you know the next 4 months are going to fly by!!!!

Hawks vs Packers

I took Sheila to her first NFL game and it ended up being the most exciting game EVER!!! The crowd was crazy loud, defense was on fire and we won! She couldn't have gone to a better game for her first.

While we were at the game Curtis was teaching the little girls how to cheer! Super cute :)

Anthony's weekend

Once again, another fun weekend! It was Anthony's turn and it was jammed packed. We saw him play football (getting 3 sacks on defense!), went to the Mariner's game, shot rockets off at the park and went shooting at the gun range. Thanks for an awesome weekend Anthony!!! pictures

6th Annual Away Seahawks Game

Another fabulous year with my ladies!!! We had such a great time in Arizona and even made it out of our hotel (Dawn's house this year). We didn't win but we alway have hope for next year. I'm so excited that this was the 6th year we've done this, it's just amazing! First away game is my favorite time of the year!
