Date night

Curtis and I had an awesome date! We went to the Hawks game and then stayed at a hotel with a view of Curtis's favorite stadium :) We had the best time ever and we are going to try to do that more often. It is hard to make it happen with Zoey around but I feel so much better after having a night away with my wonderful husband! Thanks mom and dad for watching her overnight, I know she had a blast! Seahawks won and we are in the playoffs! GO HAWKS!!!!

Happy Birthday Zoey!!!

What a special day today was! Zoey's first birthday celebration was a success and everyone had a good time, even Zoey. Not one fussy moment, opened her gift with me, loved having the birthday song sung to her, and had a huge smile the whole. She was a fabulous birthday girl and all her family and friends spoiled her with love and gifts. Thanks everyone for making Zoey's 1st birthday so much fun and a memory we won't forget!!! pictures

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and our first one with Zoey! She is just the light of our lives and I can't believe how much she grows everyday. She really enjoyed Christmas and stole the show at both families house. Best Christmas yet for the Whites!!! pictures

T&A Shenanigans

Being the winner last year of our girls fantasy team I had to pass off the trophy to this years winner, Shannon. What a fun year it was and I made it to the playoffs but lost my first game. There's always next year! :) GO HAWKS!!!!

Anchorman Christmas party

Curtis and I went to a costume party "Anchorman" themed. We all went to the movie and then partied at the Hynek's. It was a blast and Curtis won the best costume! Can't wait till next year :)

SNOW!!!

Zoey got to see and touch her first snow. She wasn't too fond of it but loved riding in the sled. I'm so glad I got to be home with her to experience it with her. She is such a joy to be around!!!

It has begun

Zoey is starting to open drawers and get into everything! She is having a blast with her new found skill. Go ZOEY!!!!!

Pictures with Santa

We took Zoey over to the Krush's to have pictures with Santa, aka papa Krush. She didn't even cry and actually liked it :) Then she got to open her first Christmas presents and got distracted pretty quickly but still had fun opening them. What a fun day for the White family!!! :) Getting excited for Christmas!

Getting better....I guess

Saw the doctor again today and he said the graph is looking better but it sure doesn't look like it to me but I guess I just have to trust him since he knows what he's talking about. It feels good to get the stitches out though!

Cousin Zellie

Zellie had her 2nd birthday party today and it is fun having a cousin so close in age. I wish they lived closer but maybe sometime soon in the future! Happy birthday Zellie!!!

Thanksgiving 2

My family came over today for round two of Thanksgiving and it was just as good but completely different so that was fun. I'm so blessing to have a wonderful family around me! Happy Thanksgiving everyone. pictures

11 months old

Zoey is starting to jabber a ton and eat solid foods. She is loving it and I'm sure she is going to be quite a talker. We are in for it and I can't wait! :) pictures

Thanksgiving 1

Curtis's family came over for Thanksgiving and it was amazing! Jay deep-fat-fried the turkey, Curtis made pumpkin cheesecake, stuffing, mashed potatoes and we were all super impressed. Everything tasted so good! I'm so thankful to have a such a wonderful family in my life since being with Curtis. What a great addition to my life. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! pictures

I got my bandage removed and redressed so I was able to see what it looked like and OMG!!! Now I know why it hurts so bad! We also found out that they got all the cancer and the lymph nodes are negative!!! Best news EVER!!!! Now I just have to be very diligent about staying out of the sun and getting checked regularly.....no problem at all!!!! BYE BYE cancer!!!!!

Feeling better

Zoey was feeling much better today and wanted to hang out with Brinks. Brinks for course wasn't liking it too much but deal with it. After Zoey got tired of playing on Brinks bed she left and he was glad to have his bed back. It was pretty funny to watch them. I wonder if they will ever be friends???

Recovering

While I'm recovering from the surgery Zoey got super sick with her first fever and a bad cold. I felt so bad for her and especially since I couldn't be there for her completely. The one sweet thing I could do was hold her and let her sleep on me. We did that for most the day and I think it helped being able to sleep on mommy. Hopefully we will both be feeling better soon.

Having surgery

Sheila is watching Zoey today as I head to the hospital to have surgery. I got diagnosed with Melanoma so they are taking some skin out around my ankle and doing a sentinel node biopsy. Zoey and Sheila had a blast especially at breakfast! :)

Go HAWKS!!!

Today was an awesome game for the Hawks and the fans. It was a tribute to the military and they brought out the huge flag for the anthem. Then at half time the gave out purple hearts and I had tears in my eyes by the end. I took Jen to the game today and it was her first NFL game and she had a blast. I explained the game to her and I think she might enjoy watching football now that she knows how it works. What an awesome night, 10-1......GO HAWKS!!!!!!

Prescilla's 1st birthday party

Zoey went to her first birthday party for her little friend Prescilla today and she had a blast! She loved the balloon's and all the different toys around to play with. It was also so fun to see Kristie and Sarah, it has been too long! I'm so glad I did my water aerobics class so that Zoey has friends her age to play with. pictures

I got some good idea's for Zoey's party......I need to start planning it NOW. I can't believe she is going to be 1 soon!

Shopping with Daddy

The new Call of Duty came out and Curtis and Zoey headed to Fry's today! I guess Zoey's eyes were all big and wide with all the new things to look at. She had fun :)

Poor Honda :(

This morning I get a call from Curtis to come pick him up because he hit a deer. Curtis is okay but the deer and the Honda are pretty banged up. Curtis and another guy had to drag the deer off the road because he wasn't moving but as soon as they got him off the road he stood up and ran into the woods. The deer probably won't make it through the night :( Jay came and towed the Honda home for us and it needs a new windshield, left mirror, and headlight. This is a good reminder for me to keep driving really slow in our neighborhood! I'm so glad Curtis is okay! What a morning!!!!

New swing

My mom and dad brought over a dolphin swing for Zoey and she loves it! Were not quite sure where we are going to hang it but we want to put it in a place where she can enjoy it in all weather. Thanks mom and dad, Zoey is going to enjoy it for years to come!!! Video

It was Curtis's turn to take a friend to the game and they had a blast! I hadn't seen Matt in awhile so it was fun to see him :) GO HAWKS!!!

Happy Halloween

This year for Halloween Zoey was a little Marine and a Zebra. She looked adorable in both and I had a blast dressing her up. My mom and dad, the Thayer's, and the Chaumont's all stopped by to see her outfits and get some candy. Curtis and I still give out the big candy bars so that made the kids happy. 10 months old

The craziest thing for me today on her 10 month birthday is that she is starting to act more and more like a little person. She is more independent, starting to get more curious about what's around her, and very determined. I just love who she is and what she's becoming. She is my precious little girl and I just love her so much!!! Pictures

She's walking!!!

Zoey started walking today and we are so excited! She is growing up so fast and most all of her first are over with. It's crazy how time fly's when your having so much fun or would you say working so hard with no sleep! ;)

Pumpkin Patch

We took Zoey to the pumpkin patch for the first time and we had a blast. She liked to touch all the pumpkins and see the animals. I think her favorite part was being on her dads shoulders :) Pictures
