Today was an exhausting day for us as I got to take her to work to show her off. Everyone was so excited to see us, even me! :) By the time we got home she slept for a good three hours straight in my arms; she wouldn't let me put her down. She is so peaceful when she sleeps and look at those eyelashes! LUCKY girl!!!

8 weeks old

I can't believe that Zoey is two months old! She is just the sweetest thing ever (besides the crying)! We are both starting to enjoy her more as she grows and shows us her personality. Daddy likes to mess with her by doing stuff like pinching her checks and it's pretty funny. I wonder how much she will enjoy it we she gets older. ;) pictures

Breakfast again!

Lisa watched Zoey again this morning so we could go out to breakfast. She got her baby fix and we got an hour to ourselves!!! What a great way to start the weekend :)

Kara is the best!

Kara came into town and I got to spend almost two days with her and they were the best days I've had in a long time! She gave me confidence, support, love, and encouragement with Zoey. While she was here we went to Red Robin, out for a drink, Curtis's work and Babies R US all of which were firsts for me. Thanks for being the best friend I could ever ask for!!! Love you Kara!

Breakfast by myself

This morning when I woke up I told Curtis that I didn't feel like making breakfast. His response was, "well go have breakfast then". I said, "really"? So off to breakfast I went and all by myself. It was AWESOME!!! Now I feel totally rejuvenated to make it through the day. I tell ya, the little things make such a big difference these days. I have the best husband EVER!!!!!

7 weeks old

I can't believe how big and cute she is getting! The time is going so fast and slow at the same time. Things are definitely getting better and easier. I think I'm getting the hang of things. pictures

Happy Valentine's Day!

What a wonderful day! Zoey and I had a blast, Curtis brought home flowers, and Curtis and I went on another date (thanks Auntie Lisa!). Life can't get much better than this!!!

Brinks and Zoey

Sometime's when Zoey sleeps after I feed her in the morning I can take a quick shower. When I got out today Brinks had joined her on the bed. How cute it that!!! SSSHHHHH, don't tell dad! ;)

Zoey just recently started to smile. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen and it's making being a mom that much better!!! I just love my sweet little girl!

First date since Zoey

Mom and Dad came over tonight and watched Zoey for us so we could go out to dinner and have a date. We went to Thai Ginger and promised we wouldn't talk about Zoey the whole time. Let me tell you....that was harder to do then we thought. We had a good night though and it felt so good to get out. Thanks M&D, you're the best!!!

Play date

Today we went over to Karissa's house for a play date and it was pretty funny. All three had their binki's in their mouth and didn't realize that there were two other people there. It was pretty funny to watch them :) Fun times!!!!

Road trip

Curtis and I took Zoey out for her first road trip. We tried to make it to the snow but only made it to the river. She is not a huge fan of the car seat but hopefully she will start to like it soon.

Breakfast out

Lisa watched Zoey for an hour so we could go have breakfast alone! It was our first outing together and it was AWESOME!!!! I just love my husband :)
