Where did Brinks go?

When I got up this morning I couldn't find Brinks anywhere...but that was because I was looking in all the regular places, NOT on my chair! I think since I left the window open last night he wanted to keep an eye on the outside all night and make sure he didn't see anyone pass our house! Silly dog, he doesn't even look comfortable!

We took Mia out to breakfast and it was so fun to hear what she's been doing. She's turning into such a smart and beautiful girl!

Good day

So this morning Zoey took about 5min getting herself situated in her chair, on top of her bear and with her book to read. She didn't stay there long but it was the cutest thing to watch! I just love her to death!!!

Then after her nap we met Jane and Olive for lunch at Red Robin and both the kids did great. Sometimes you never know what's going to happen or if it will be a disaster and it was totally worth it! Times have changed....both of us have kids and our lunches are very different :) Good times!

Zoey's favorite place to be is outside rain or shine. If nothing is right and I take her outside she is happy as a camper! I'm so excited it's getting nice out so we can be outside all the time. Now we just need to get the yard ready for her!

Easter

The weather was good this year for Easter and the egg hunt was fun for Zoey. She got to do two of them, one by herself and then one with everyone else. She picked up the same eggs as I just kept taking them out and dropping them around and she loved it. I've been excited to watch Zoey enjoy the holidays at a young age...something I missed out on. Can't wait for next year since I know I'll have to put actual candy in the eggs and she will be more into it :) pictures

Happy Birthday Curtis

For Curtis's birthday this year we went to the horse races and went to the Master's Poker Tournament at Amy's house. What a fun packed day it was :) The weather wasn't the best but we had a fun day. Happy Birthday Curtis, we love to pieces!!! pictures and a video of Zoey dancing in the rain

Helping Daddy

So Curtis had Zoey help him make Hummingbird food and she actually was doing very well. I just love how he thinks to do these things with her, it's amazing how much she can do if you just let her try! Video

Curtis was taking Zoey somewhere and rolled the window down and she absolutely LOVED it! She is going to be a thrill girl....I'm nervous and excited!!!

Happy Birthday Lily

We took Lily and her friend out for breakfast for her birthday this year and I can't believe how old she acts. It's crazy how they turn from little girls to young ladies!

Auction project

Since Zoey is in a private Montessori school they need funding and host an Auction every year. This year they asked me to come up with the idea and see it through. This was my idea and I think it turned out okay and I hope they can get some good money for it. We have all our hours and some....that worked out well.

Mariner's Opening Day

Curtis and I had a blast at Opening Day this year. We both remember it ;) lol and the game was a blast. For the first pitch they have 5 Seahawks players come out and Wilson through the pitch. The crowd was loving it! I hope the Mariner's keep up the momentum and have a great season. Go M's!!! pictures

We stayed downtown that night and went to breakfast in the morning and then went on the ferris wheel. It was a long overdue date and we had a good time. Now home to sleep! :)

Amazing dinner and company

The Herrera family came over tonight and made us an amazing dinner and we attempted to play Catan. We spent the entire night talking and having a good time that by the time we thought about playing it was time for bed. I just love having them over and getting to hold Olive. Adorable!!!!

Woodland Park Zoo

We took Zoey to the zoo today for her first time. We tried to find the bigger animals that she could see but I think her favorite part was playing with us at the end in the rain before we left. She said "HI" to everyone that was leaving and was a total hit. She cracks me up! Once we finally got in the car we passed Dick's and grabbed a few cheeseburgers. We gave Zoey some to try and she gobbled it up. She wasn't too sure about the ketchup or mustard at first but then wanted more. We only let her have so much though. Now she is in bed and I'm ready for bed too! lol :) I just love our cute little family!!!! pictures

Friday hike with Dad

Now that the weather is good Curtis is starting his Friday hikes again and Zoey and Brinks are happy campers. They went to the cedar river today and played with rocks, sticks, leaves, moss, and anything else she could find. They had a fun day and were all exhausted with I got home. pictures
