Go Evan GO!!!!

Evan is swimming and improving so much. Zoey and I got to go see him swim and it brought back memories for me. I really enjoyed swimming back in the day and I wonder if Zoey will want to competitive swim...

4 year old check up

Zoey had her yearly check up and she is growing on track and is healthy! She had to get her shots and didn't like it of course but was a brave girl. Thankfully these are the last shots for quite some time!

WFH

After my last doctor apt I got a cat scan and no blood in the brain (thank GOD) but found I have a severe sinus infection...this will never end. Since the doc doesn't want me to work in the office I've set my work station up at home. Not bad and it works nicely but working for more then 4 hours is exhausting. Need to ease back into it like the doc ordered but I can't believe it is taking this long! Need to stay patient because I really don't want to mess up my brain or have chronic headaches!

Fun in the snow

Zoey and Curtis went to play in the snow together while I was still stuck at home on concussion protocol. They had a blast together and I missed being there. I'm so thankful that they have such a great relationship, we are all so lucky to have each other!

Concussion

So apparently my goose egg on my head was worse then I thought and my symptoms were bad. I went to the doctor and I was supposed to stop all screens, socializing, exercising and work for the next month! Concussion protocol is no joke! I was shocked but followed the doctors orders since I didn't feel right at all and messing my brain up "more" was the last thing I needed. I went to see another doc that did pressurized chambers that can help with the healing that apparently lots of football players have in their home. Hoping anything helps at this point!!!

Posing in the shadows

After the Hawks game Curtis and I walked down the North ramp and had way too much fun playing and posing for pictures. It was a gorgeous clear night and they way the light was hitting the wall was perfect. Myself and perfect strangers were posing on the wall while Curtis took pictures, it was hysterical. Having fun doing silly things...my favorite thing in life! GO HAWKS!!!

Life of curls

Brushing Zoey's hair is quite a production after a bath. It takes about 15-20min and I've got it down to a science. Good thing for shows but I wonder how long this will last before she won't want me to brush her hair anymore. Maybe it's time for another hair cut :)

Mr. Snappy

We got to watch the class pet Mr Snappy for the Christmas break and Zoey was so proud to have him at our house. Best part for us was that it counted for all of our service hours, YIPPY!!!! :)
