Swimming with Julie

Karissa and I took the girls to Hazen Pool today and they both had a blast. Pretty much the whole time Zoey wanted to jump into the pool and then get back out and do it all over again. My arms were tired by the end of the hour. I think I'm going to have Curtis take her next time, he's the one with the muscles ;)

Love of creatures

One day it is a snake, the next day it is a cute little frog that Curtis brings home for Zoey to look at. She enjoy's each new thing she get's to hold and pet. It is pretty cool that Curtis does that for her, she won't be afraid of anything!

Date night!

So Barbie and I switch off watching the kids so that we can go on dates. It has been so nice to get some time away with my husband, I miss just us time. Love you to pieces baby and thanks for the awesome date night!

Spring Training

Curtis had a blast this year at Spring Training with only him and Joe. They got to do three baseball games, Nascar and a hockey game. No time was wasted this year!

Front porch

Today Curtis tore down our front porch as it wasn't safe anymore. This is going to be a fun spring project that hopefully we can get done before summer :)

Washing dishes

Zoey loves to help me "wash" dishes and this time she was basically inside the sink and water was everywhere. Too much fun! :)

NO BRINKS NO!!!

When Zoey and I got home from school today there was a dead mouse in our drive way. When Brinks got out he wouldn't leave it alone and kept trying to pick it up. It was so gross and I couldn't pick it up to throw it away and had to wait for Curtis to get home. I'm such a wimp!

Happy Birthday Olive

Olive is turning 1 and I can't believe how adorable she is! Her party was so much fun, Jane and Phil did a fabulous job. I love Olive so much and so does Zoey. I really think that they will turn into best friends as the years go by! Happy Birthday my sweet little Olive! I love you like my own!!! pictures

V-day picnic

For Valentine's Day Curtis took Zoey and I to Coulon Park for some fishing and a picnic. We had a wonderful time and it was so sweet of Curtis to surprise us. I just love my family!!!

Cougar stalking

Zoey and I went to the zoo today and the cougar was very interested in Zoey. He watched us the whole time we were at the zoo and when we stopped to see him he couldn't take his eye's off Zoey. It was starting to freak me out a bit. A one point Zoey started running along side of the cougar and he chased her as if he was stalking his prey. I told Zoey we could only walk near the cougar and then we soon left. I actually felt bad for the cougar as I bet he thought Zoey could've been a nummy dinner!

Zoey's 2nd Birthday Parties

On Saturday we had a party with all of Zoey friends. So many kids and my friends were able to show up, it was a blast! They got to play play-doe outside and I think everyone had a good time. 

On Sunday we had a party with all of the family. I just love having such a big family to celebrate with, we are lucky. Zoey had a good 2nd birthday and loved each day. Thank you everyone for coming over! pictures

SUPERBOWL

I can hardly believe the ending to the Superbowl...that was a harsh way to end the season :( I don't think I can talk about for a long time to come. I'm heartbroken......
