9th Annual Away Seahawks Game

This year the game was in St. Louis and we decided to spend the day before in Chicago and drive over. That turned about to be really exhausting and now we know not to do that again.

It was a successful year again though and we packed in as much as possible...sight seeing, KURIOS, fabulous food, the GAME of course, Budweiser brewery and girl time (my favorite). We almost won the game this year and it's getting old but love our tradition regardless. Next year is going to our 10th year and I think we are going to have to do something special. Not sure what but I know it will be amazing ;) pictures

Mariner's date night

Curtis surprised me tonight with front row seats at the Mariner's game. We had a blast together and I just love date night! pictures

Mauricio for dinner

Tonight we had Mauricio and Anna over for dinner. It was a long time coming and glad we finally made it happen. What fun it's been to watch him grow up into a man, I love him to pieces!

Mariachi Party on the lake

Today we went to Dave's Mariachi Party at his house. They had an outdoor band and Zoey had a blast dancing to the music. It was fun to see everyone and everyone was shocked how big Zoey had gotten. It rained for a bit but mostly it was wonderful weather. Feels like summer is still going strong! video

First Day in Primary

Zoey has moved up to Primary this year and Three Tree Montessori and her new teacher is Emily. We are excited for her and know that she is going to have a blast with all the new things to learn and play with. Here's to a good school year!

Today we had a crazy rain storm and we all went outside to play in it. Right after it was over the sun came out and it was absolutely gorgeous! I just love this time of the year :)

Party House - Snoqualmie

This weekend we went to the Snoqualmie area and rented a house for the weekend with the Hererra's, Molly and Vin. We had a fun time hanging out with everyone and relaxing. A last minute trip to the lake ended up being my favorite part of the weekend! Zoey had a blast in the mud and building a river plus a bridge with her Daddy. I just love how we all love being outside in nature! What a fun weekend! pictures

On our way home we stopped at REI and Zoey was wearing a frilly pink dress and Curtis had his Marines shirt on, it was quite the cute sight. Everyone was looking at them and smiling :) When we got home Curtis and Zoey played on the swings for quite some and road her princess bike. It was the perfect ending to long weekend!

Jen's 40th birthday

We went to Doofer's tonight for Jen's 40th birthday bash and it was fun to see everyone. Jody was the only one that didn't make it for our flash back picture. I can't believe how long we have all know each other. Happy Birthday JEN!!! xoxo

First pre-season game

We went to our first preseason game and had a blast as usual. It was a pretty mellow game and it felt good to be back in the stadium. GO HAWKS!!!

Anne in town

My old boss Anne came into town from Hawaii and it was so good to see her. She looks so relaxed and happy, Hawaii looks good on her ;)

We spent the weekend in Lynden for Allison's wedding and Zoey got to be one of the flower girls. She did a perfect job and was super cute with her cousins Lily and Molly. It was a stressful weekend for me though, pushing her naps and bedtimes just so she was there for the events. It all worked out and I wished I hadn't worried about everything so much. Oh well, it was a successful weekend, Zoey had a blast and the wedding was beautiful! pictures

Weekend fun

We had a fun weekend together from helping Dad work on the deck (video) to spending the night with cousin Lily. Zoey is growing up so fast!
