Granty took me to PT today and since Zellie is in town for the holiday's she took them both to Starbucks for a treat while I was at PT. This trip these two got along so good and were the perfect cousin's :)

Frozen 2 & TSO Concert

This weekend Barbie, Mia, Hugo, Zoey and I all went to Frozen 2 and we all LOVED it! I think it was better then the first....need to see it again! I'm so thankful for my sister and Mia for taking me in the wheelchair so that I could go to the movie, it was my first time out of the house other then for PT, love you both! 

Garan took Zoey to the Trans Siberian Orchestra Concert because they both loved it so much last year. Thanks Garan for taking her, she had a blast!!!

Post surgery follow-up

The doc says everything is looking good and the surgery went well! So good to hear and now I have metal in my leg....never thought that would happen. Now I have another 5 weeks left on crutches...ugh!!!

Veteran's Day song

Today Zoey and her class sang You're a Grand Old Flag for the Veteran's Day assembly. I was so sad to miss it but both Curtis and GiGi were able to go. Zoey was so proud of her Dad and has been singing her song all week! We love you Curtis and thank you for your service!!!

Skate Park with Hugo

Going to the skate park with Hugo has given Zoey more confidence and it's so good for her! I'm glad she is able to get out and get some exercise as lately she just wants to be at my side and play "school".

Halloween

Hugo took Zoey around the neighborhood for a bit tricker treating until Curtis got home from taking me to surgery. After he got me settled in the chair and my sister Sheila was here to take care of he took her to her teachers haunted house and more tricker treating. I miss it all but I think Zoey had a good time. Happy Halloween everyone!

Yes, surgery it is :(

Curtis and Zoey took me to a Sports and Medicine doctor today and he confirmed I need surgery. Since I tore all the ligaments on the top and side of my ankle the bottom of my leg didn't pass the stress test and they will need to drill through the bottom of my two bones and put washers with a braided rope between to hold everything together. They don't need to do anything for my tibula, that will heal on it's own but i'll need to be on crutches for 6 WEEKS after surgery!!!! I have surgery scheduled for Thursday.....Halloween :( Now i'm going to miss Zoey tricker treating.....sssaaadddd!!!!

I broke my leg ;(

This morning Zoey and I went with Barbie to take pictures of Mia and her friends for prom and I went up a hill to get a good shot and on my way down I slipped down the hill and my foot got caught at the bottom and my ankle snapped back and broke my leg in two place....ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!! How do I keep getting hurt, this is getting ridiculous and I'm so mad right now!! The ER thinks i'm going to need surgery and I totally cried when he told me. This is not how I wanted my weekend to go. NNNOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Curtis and Dad went fishing

Curtis and Dad are having fun camping and being one with nature! I'm so glad they are having some bonding time, they are both the most important men in my life so i'm happy they are starting to enjoy each other!

I got to have coffee with my two favorite NYC ladies and found out some sad news. Cathy has decided to move on and i'm going to miss her so much!!! I hope she enjoys her new adventure and will for sure get together again next trip in Nov! Love you Cathy!!!!
