Today we had a crazy rain storm and we all went outside to play in it. Right after it was over the sun came out and it was absolutely gorgeous! I just love this time of the year :)

Party House - Snoqualmie

This weekend we went to the Snoqualmie area and rented a house for the weekend with the Hererra's, Molly and Vin. We had a fun time hanging out with everyone and relaxing. A last minute trip to the lake ended up being my favorite part of the weekend! Zoey had a blast in the mud and building a river plus a bridge with her Daddy. I just love how we all love being outside in nature! What a fun weekend! pictures

On our way home we stopped at REI and Zoey was wearing a frilly pink dress and Curtis had his Marines shirt on, it was quite the cute sight. Everyone was looking at them and smiling :) When we got home Curtis and Zoey played on the swings for quite some and road her princess bike. It was the perfect ending to long weekend!

Jen's 40th birthday

We went to Doofer's tonight for Jen's 40th birthday bash and it was fun to see everyone. Jody was the only one that didn't make it for our flash back picture. I can't believe how long we have all know each other. Happy Birthday JEN!!! xoxo

First pre-season game

We went to our first preseason game and had a blast as usual. It was a pretty mellow game and it felt good to be back in the stadium. GO HAWKS!!!

My old boss Anne came into town from Hawaii and it was so good to see her. She looks so relaxed and happy, Hawaii looks good on her ;)

Flower girl

We spent the weekend in Lynden for Allison's wedding and Zoey got to be one of the flower girls. She did a perfect job and was super cute with her cousins Lily and Molly. It was a stressful weekend for me though, pushing her naps and bedtimes just so she was there for the events. It all worked out and I wished I hadn't worried about everything so much. Oh well, it was a successful weekend, Zoey had a blast and the wedding was beautiful! pictures

Weekend fun

We had a fun weekend together from helping Dad work on the deck (video) to spending the night with cousin Lily. Zoey is growing up so fast! 

Having fun with food

For breakfast this morning I surprised Curtis with a special anniversary breakfast that included a bacon weave breakfast taco, heart shaped croissants, hash-browns and mimosa's. He loved everything and it was so much fun to be creative in the kitchen :) I did just realize that I forgot the cheese in the taco, oh well....maybe I'll have make it again!

Mia in Sound of Music

I got to watch Mia act and sing in the Sound of Music play tonight. She did an amazing job and I'm so proud of her. I'm curious to see if she stays interested in acting, she could definitely have a future in it. pictures/videos

Happy 4th Anniversary

Tonight Evan babysat Zoey so Curtis and I could go have our anniversary dinner at Sip in Issaquah (Curtis picked the place and made reservations!). The food was tasty but not enough portions as Curtis wasn't full :( We had a good time though remembering what we did for each anniversary and our favorite times over the last year. This year together flew by and I don't remember much but my goal for next year is to have three times as many dates together. Here's to next year baby! xoxo

Sister's weekend

This year was Sheila's 40th birthday and we took B's RV out to La Push for the weekend. When we got there they were having a festival that weekend so it was more crowded then we would've liked. It was a super relaxing weekend though, walking on the beach, taking a hike, playing games, watching movies and best of all being goofy with my sisters! Meanwhile at home, Curtis and Zoey are having a blast. She got to go fishing for the first time and was a little afraid of the fish but was super excited to talk about it afterwards. I'm so happy that they get special time together :) She loves her daddy so much!

I'm having so much fun with my little girl right now. She is so creative, spunky, adventurous and sweet. I'm heading out for the weekend and going to miss her so much, I just love my baby girl!

Music Class

Zoey and Julie are taking a music class in Issaquah and both loving it. It is a bit hard on Zoey since it's right at bedtime but totally worth it. The class it only for 5 weeks and we get to have dinner together before we go. I'm loving our mommy daughter time!
