Jane's Bridal Shower

I threw Jane a Bridal Shower at our house on Sunday and we had a good time. I put together a questionnaire, we ate fabulous food that everyone brought (Phil grilled), and she opened gifts. I think Jane and her family and friend had a good time. I love my poo so much! pictures

7 months old!

Zoey is 7 months old today and decided to roll over! I thought she might crawl first but it won't be long for that either. She is just a joy to watch and we love her so much. I'm excited to see all the things she will accomplish this next month. pictures

Swim lessons

Curtis and I signed Zoey up for swim lessons and she LOVES the water! For a half hour we played in the water and she loved to splash and kick her legs. It was so adorable!!! Next week Curtis is going to be in the water with her. Video

Vegas baby!

This weekend I went to Vegas for Jane's bach party and we had a blast! We hung out at the pool and casino jumped and had some good girl time. It was my first trip away from Zoey and I missed her terribly that when I got home I cried when I saw her. It feels good to be back home :) pictures

MOLE!!!

While Curtis was mowing the lawn he noticed a mole pushing up some dirt. Curtis grabbed the shovel and started digging for him and he finally caught him! He was amazed at how fast he could dig and he almost lost him a few time before he got him out of the grass. Brinks wanted to get the mole but Curtis wouldn't let him. Now he is going to take the mole into the woods where he can dig all he wants without ruining any bodies lawns :) But before he did Mia and Hugo came over and got to see him....they thought that was pretty cool!

Softball

I played in a softball game today and I'm already sore and the day isn't over! Its been forever since I've played and I'm going to be hurting tomorrow. Curtis and Zoey came and watched me so that made it more fun!

Go Hugo & Barbie

I went to the pool to watch Hugo in his last swim meet and Barbie do a parent coach race. That was so much fun to see them and it brought back lots of memories of when I used to swim all the time. Good times :)

Rice cereal

We started to feed Zoey rice cereal this week and she wasn't quite sure about it in the beginning but is loving it now. She started to open her mouth and swallow better. Tomorrow I'm going to try and give her sweet potatoes....I wonder if she will like the way it tastes. Fun times feeding Zoey real food instead of just milk. I think it will fun for each new food to see how she reacts. I bet Curtis can't wait to give her a lemon! :)

Big girl bath time

Zoey has out grown her sink bath and is now in the blowup bath in the bath tub. She seemed to like it much better being able to sit up and have toys. It's harder for me to wash her but as long as she's happy I'm fine with it :)

Busy weekend

Curtis started tearing apart the kitchen and that was a crazy amount of work. It took them all weekend but got it all done. As you can see here Zoey even helped :) On Saturday was the Yokers family BBQ at Lisa's house this year and we had a blast! The weather was perfect and all the kids had a blast in the pool. As always, it was hard to get to talk to everyone but the one's I did it was fun to catch up. Excited to see everyone again!

Happy 4th of July

We had a fun day today having lunch at mom and dads. We didn't stay long since I'd been sick all week but we hung out for awhile. We also wanted to get back to Brinks as soon as we could. Zoey wasn't bothered by the fireworks but Brinks was bad this year. We drugged him up with Benadryl and he still was so stressed out. Poor doggy, it was a long night for him.

Getting so strong

Zoey started doing this a few days ago and now she's doing it all the time. I bet this means she will be moving soon......our strong little athlete!!!
