Family hike - Talapus Lake Trail

My little girl concurred Lake Talapus all by herself and we can't be more proud of her! She is getting so big and strong and we are excited to take her on more hikes. Nice job ZOEY!!!  pictures

Seaside/Astoria Family Vacation

This weekend Kara's kids and Zoey got to meet each other for the first time and LOVED each other! Kara and I have been friends since 98 and I always dreamed about our kids being friends. It has been hard being so far away but it was such a treat to all hang out for the weekend. We all met at Seaside and played at the beach most of the time. I can never get enough time with my Kara. Favorite memory was when a group of seagulls flew overhead and Zoey called them turkeys, Jade called them ducks and Alex called them pigeons! Kids are the best :) Saying goodbye was hard as usual.....I HATE IT.....but am thankful for the time we got together.

We then headed to Astoria to say hi to Jrae and then camped at the nearby KOA. It was like having a second vacation with just our little family and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Curtis and I played lots of ping-pong, Zoey learned how to swim and we all enjoyed the free pancake breakfast. This place is perfect for kids/dogs and we definitely want to come again! Fun at Panther Lake

Another fabulous trip at Andrea's and Jason's pad! Pretty soon we are going to move into their backyard for the summer and never leave. We love playing on the lake (fishing, boating, floating, jet skiing) and eating amazing Traeger food! Curtis is determined to get one for us....we shall see :) pictures

Goodbye Santa

Today was a sad day for everyone as our dear Al "Santa" passed away and we are here today to say goodbye. It was the first funeral for Zoey and did great sitting for that long. We are going to miss you so much Al, we love you so much!

Long 4th of July weekend

Curtis and I got away for the night and went to Leavenworth for Joe's wedding and it was so nice to get out of town. The wedding was amazing and the location was breathtaking. We came back that next morning to take Zoey to the pool and then had Barbie and the kids over for fireworks. Kriss left them a few days ago and they are not doing very good. I just hope that being so close we can be a helpful support system and bring some happiness to them today. pictures
