Happy Birthday Zoey

I can't believe my little girl just turned 3!!! She has grown up so much this year and she is such a delight to my life. The entire family came over and I made nummy pasta. The theme was a pink lion party with decorated lion sugar cookies. Zoey had a blast and her favorite part that she was so excited for in this picture was to open presents! She was cracking everyone up! Happy Birthday my beautiful little girl, we love you so much! pictures

Sister's Gift Exchange

Before we started our gift exchange all the kids came with for pizza and ice cream and then went over to B's. This year we drew names and I had Lisa and got her a bunch of nummy tea with a fantasy pot, I think she really like it. We then played a round of games to end the night. Fun times as always :)

Christmas Day

For Christmas this year Jay made a delicious breakfast and then we followed it up with passing out gifts. We tried to nap Zoey so she would last longer but that didn't happen, oh well. We ended the day with Curtis dancing with Lily and Zoey, it was pretty cute! Merry Christmas everyone! pictures

Christmas Eve

This year Zoey was able to be in the play and she played a wiseman. It was pretty cute how she watched all of us act and tried to follow along. That night, after we got home, Curtis and I gave her the dollhouse I've been so excited to give her. She loved it and I hope she get's a ton of play hours on it. Now to bed and to get ready for Christmas! pictures

Baking with Mommy

It's that time of the year to make special Christmas cookies together. Zoey enjoyed mixing it together, rolling the dough and then didn't want to help again until it was time to decorate. Mostly she just wanted to eat the M & M's :) She is so much fun to cook with!

Picture's with Santa

We are so lucky to have our own personal Santa, Mr. Krush! We went over there this afternoon and Santa asked Zoey what she wanted for Christmas and she said a panda bear. We think the reason she asked for this was that the year before that is what she got from Santa. Mrs. Clause went to the back and brought one out for her and the look on her face was priceless! The joy of Santa :) pictures

All decorated

As always I had so much fun decorating the house for Christmas and this year I outdid myself. I used the snowflakes from Zellie's birthday party in the entry way and created a winter wonderland in the livingroom. The tree Curtis cut actually turned out perfect after he built a stand for it. The gap of branches in the back wasn't even noticable, he was right! ;) I love the way everything turned out and I got my Santa this year too! I'm getting so excited for Christmas!!! pictures

Tree hunting

What a fun day in the mountains with the Eiler's and friends. Curtis took off again this year down the mountain side looking for the perfect Christmas tree and got a lopsided tree that Candy and I teased him about. He swears that it's going to be the perfect tree...we shall see :) We attempted to make an enormous snowman but it got too big to stack them so we just used them for climbing. Zoey loved riding her sled down the hills and eating snow until she got too cold. We ended up spending the second half of the trip in the truck getting warm and dancing/signing to music. I always have so much fun with my little girl. pictures

Extended Holiday Weekend

Curtis and I took a few extra day's off to make a nice long weekend and we had the best time! My mom watched Zoey for a few hours during her nap so we could go out for a date on Veteran's Day. We ended up walking along the beach at Alki and had lunch at Cactus. It was one of my favorite dates to date! The rest of the weekend was fun filled with Candyland board game, hike in the woods, trip to Snoqualmie Falls, lots of Zoey time, digging in the backyard and the Seahawks game. To end the weekend my Mom and Dad had Zoey spend the night and I went to work in the morning without taking her to school and that was truly a treat! Best stay-cation yet! pictures

Trick-or-Treat

First thing in the morning we started making halloween cupcakes per Zoey's request. Her favorite part she loved the most was putting the sprinkles on and poking in the spider tops. Fun and messy times in the kitchen are some of my best memories with her!

After nap we got dressed in her costume and went tricker treating. Just like last year, Zoey was shy when they opened the door and you could barely hear her say "trick or treat". She was the cutest thing ever and even despite the sideway's rain we all had a blast. Now I'm going to have some hot apple cider, sit in front of the fire and pass out candy! Happy Halloween!!! pictures

Costume Day

Since Friday was our work Halloween party and Blue Friday I decided to kill two birds with one stone and go all out as a 12th fan! I even decorated my desk :) Zoey just wanted to be a princess and had fun at dance class with Kira. Excited for tomorrow and ticker treating!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we took Zoey to the Pumpkin Patch out in Enumclaw and the Herrera's got to come with us. I was impressed with this place and they had a ton of fun things to do. We all had a blast! Curtis scheduled a picture appointment for us and we got some family pictures there too. I don't think Zoey can get any cuter :) pictures

After we left we headed over to Jane's house to see Lola and Zoey got to hold her for the first time. She was so gentle and I could tell that was really special for her. I can't believe Lola still has her red hair, love it!

Jeah Senior pics

Jeah is a senior this year and asked me if I could take her pictures. Of course I did and we had a blast doing it. We took them down at Coulon and the weather thankfully held up for us. It had been raining all morning, stopped when we got there and started dumping at our last picture location. What a beautiful and amaing young women Jeah has grown into and I can't wait to see where life takes her. pictures

Mom to Hawks game

For Thursday night football I took my mom to her first NFL football game. She had a blast and enjoyed seeing what happens on the field during commercials. It was fun be able to experience this special event for her together :)

We had a few bumps getting into the stadium though as I forgot to tell her that she couldn't bring a bag or purse so we had to check her bag, buy a clear one, waited in the wrong line (security told us wrong) and almost missed the kick off. I was so mad at security because they said my mom could fold up her empty bag and put it into the clear plastic bag but when we got to the front of the line they said sorry no and we had to go wait in the bag check line and waisted all that time. All said and done we had a blast together! GO HAWKS!!!
