Happy Birthday to ME!

For my birthday this year Curtis got me broadway tickets and I took my sister Sheila to go see The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess and we both loved it! Thanks for the awesome gift Curtis and thanks for going with me Sheila! Love you both!!!

Big girl bed

Since Zoey is getting bigger and about ready to try and climb out of bed we decided to take the front off of the bed and make it a toddler bed. First nap was a success. She got in and out only a few times and didn't fall out once. Hopefully tonight goes just as well.

Zoey can say her name!

It was so exciting to hear Zoey say her name for the first time! How adorable is she!!! Love it :)

Treat yourself Tuesday

This summer the Pike Place Market is having a mini market across the street from work so I'm going to treat myself every week to a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Week one and I'm loving this idea!

Visiting Dad at the job site

Curtis had to work today so we took him lunch. It was fun watching Curtis show her off and how proud Zoey was to be in his arms. I'm so happy that they love each other so much!

Later we played in the pool to cool off and Zoey had a blast! By the end of the day she was walking around to get on the slide by herself and doing it over an over again. GO ZOEY GO!!!

Mommy's little helper

I found to perfect little cleaning kit for Zoey and she loves to help me mop and dust. Good habits start early ;)

Happy Father's Day

Zoey loves her Daddy so much...she is definitely a Daddies girl :)

I'm not tired

So right now Zoey sometimes takes a second nap and she usually fights it. Today she was being fussy but falling asleep standing up. It was too cute :)

After her nap she was all ready to ride her trike again and this time she was getting the steering thing down. At the end she was even understand how to put her legs up when she goes down the hill. She is learning it fast!

Kriss's 40th

Curtis's mom came over tonight and put Zoey to bed for us so that we could go out for Kriss's 40th celebration at Von Trapps. We had a blast and being out together felt so nice! We need to do that more often for sure! Happy Birthday Kriss, thanks for getting us out of the house and together! :)

New bike

Zoey just got her new trike and I think she is going to love it! She started to get the hang of it but then was getting tired. I'm curious how she will do tomorrow. 

Friday hike with Dad

Curtis took Zoey and Brinks for a hike and when I got home it was a tired happy bunch! Zoey just loves the outdoors :) I can't wait to go on one with them soon!

Last day of school

Today was Zoey last day of school and I can't believe how much she has grown durning her time there. My Aunt Gerrie has done an amazing job with her and I can only hope to keep it up durning the summer. I feel so lucky to have my aunt be with her everyday! Thanks Gerrie!!! pictures

Airplane

After we picked Zoey up from school today we took her to watch the airplanes take off from SeaTac. She loved it so much that she would ask for more (using her sign too) after the plane was in the distance. It was the cutest thing to watch her. Sometime I feel like all I could do is watch her all the time, she is so amazing....I know, I'm biased :)

So expressive

Zoey was playing with her dad's headphone's and having a fabulous time! It is so much fun how expressive she is, we are laughing with her all the time!

Fun weekend

Play date

Zoey and I went to Beth's house after school to play with Max and Oliver. Max is in Zoey's class and Beth and I see each other everyday picking them up from school that we've become friends. It's been fun meeting new people and new moms! It has been helping me out a lot!

Turdle

I keep watching this video over and over. I just can't get enough of the way she say's turtle! LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!

Today I was determined to get the entire yard weeded today. I did that plus pruned the front yard. I filled Curtis's truck so full of weeds and trimmings that I could barely get it closed. Now I can barely move! I'm worried about tomorrow as they say the second day is the worst! :( I'm hoping a bath and Ibuprofen will help.
