Zoey's Friends

All summer long so far there are at least 2 kids at our house playing on any given day. We have 8 kids on our street that all ride bikes with Zoey and come over to play....it is crazy! Zoey loves every minute of it and say's "life is only right if I'm playing with friends and riding my bike". She basically sleeps in her helmet. I have to say I'm glad that we are the house in the neighborhood that the kids come to play at even though it's exhausting and I'm running out of snacks!

Our 7th anniversary!!!

Curtis and I went out for our anniversary and we had a total blast! We finally used our gift card and went on a cruise and we had a special friend with us....Félix Hernández. That made our cruise even more exciting! lol  After the cruise we went to the Crab Shack and I enjoyed my delicious crab :) What a wondering night together and happy anniversary lover boy! ;)

Moffat Mariner's Game

Right after getting home from NYC we went to meet the Moffat group at the Mariner's game and it was so fun to see everyone. Jeah's fiance's family was in town so we got to meet them at the game. I still can't believe Jean is getting married, I'm so excited for her!

Back to NYC

Another trip in the books and I had some fun with my co-workers riding bikes in Central Park. I'm still training for my Triathlon and want to make sure I keep biking. So glad a few of them came with me :)

Bike Camp

Zoey did Bike Camp this summer with Peddleheads and liked it for the most part. She was more advanced then most of the kids and didn't like that the teacher didn't want her to skid out....apparently that is a bad habit, who knew. She met a friend which helped and they had fun together. Overall I'm glad I took the time to take her to Bike Camp as she learned her street signs and got more skills.

Play date with Amelia

We all went to Amelia's house and Curtis loved their house just like I thought he would. They cooked a good dinner and we spend the night on the beach. Curtis and Jaris went fishing while we set watching the kids play in the sand. It was a fun night and it's so fun seeing someone that Zoey gets along with so great. They are two peas in a pod :)

Happy 4th!

What a fun-packed exhausting day! I woke up early and got ready to run the Maple Hills 5K with Barbie and Sheila. Laurie our neighbor even ran it with us. Then I hurried back home to get Zoey and I ready for the parade. It was crazy hot for the parade but this year we got to ride with the Sweens. After the parade we went to the park for hotdogs and the local fire workers sprayed the hose for all the kids. It was quite a sight and Zoey had a blast with Anna!

After relaxing for a bit we then went to the lake house for dinner and fireworks. I got to do the paddle boat with Zoey and it was super special. This year it was a smaller group and Zoey was the only kid and loved all the attention from the adults. Surprisingly she made it to fireworks time without falling asleep...it was a fantastic show! Happy 4th everyone :)

Berry picking

We went berry (strawberry and raspberry) picking with Karrie and Dezzie today at Remlinger Farms. The kids had a blast together and we almost fit everything in. Zoey's favorite parts were petting the donkey and going through the tunnel on the train. I think my favorite part was watching Zoey dote over Dezzie and treat him so special. It was fun to see them interact all day :) I hope we can plan another play date soon! I just love summer 😎
