Merry Christmas

Started the day with stocking with Sheila and then headed to Moniques for Christmas and we had a good time. Curtis ended up being the tickle monster and all 5 kids couldn't take him down, it was super cute to watch. Merry Christmas everyone and it's almost 2020...wow this year flew by!

Christmas Eve

This year wasn't the smoothest Christmas's ever but it was still good being with my family and enjoying each other. I love them all so much!!!

Ho Ho Ho

Gigi and Boppa showed up today and gave Zoey her Christmas present and she was so excited! I just love how like to do presents on a different day then Christmas, I feel like it makes is more special. She got a horse for Nina and an art easel. She's been playing with them all day.....Christmas is almost here!!!! :)

Follow up on my leg

So the doc took x-ray's again and apparently that picture is looking good! At the top and bottom of the break new bone is growing and holding them together, so CRAZY!!! It’s been a rough couple months but he gave me the greenlight to be able to put pressure on it and to start walking again, I see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! 1-2 week to get off the crutches and then 1-2 more weeks to get off the boot and then another 1-2 to get back to normal. Breaking your leg is no joke....don't recommend it!

Gingerbread fun!

This weekend Zoey went to a birthday party for Peyton where they made gingerbread houses and then we did our annual gingerbread house making with Amelia. So now we have two houses in our kitchen for Zoey to munch on ;) lol

Happy 10th Birthday Brinks

Our sweet Brinks turned 10 today and we are so happy he is still here and kicking. His body is failing him but he is still the sweetest puppy ever. We love you so much Brinks!!!

The Nutcracker

Zoey finally made it to the Nutcracker and she absolutely loved it! What a fun night for all of us!

Happy Thanksgiving Round 2

Round 2 at Grantie's house; we played games, ate food and I had to sit in the chair......still had a good time though :) So grateful for everyone in my family!!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's and so thankful for everyone! Had to sit in a chair the whole time and was really glad there was three football game on! I can't wait to walk....two weeks and counting!!!

Hanging with Zellie

Granty took me to PT today and since Zellie is in town for the holiday's she took them both to Starbucks for a treat while I was at PT. This trip these two got along so good and were the perfect cousin's :)

Frozen 2 & TSO Concert

This weekend Barbie, Mia, Hugo, Zoey and I all went to Frozen 2 and we all LOVED it! I think it was better then the first....need to see it again! I'm so thankful for my sister and Mia for taking me in the wheelchair so that I could go to the movie, it was my first time out of the house other then for PT, love you both! 

Garan took Zoey to the Trans Siberian Orchestra Concert because they both loved it so much last year. Thanks Garan for taking her, she had a blast!!!

Post surgery follow-up

The doc says everything is looking good and the surgery went well! So good to hear and now I have metal in my leg....never thought that would happen. Now I have another 5 weeks left on crutches...ugh!!!

Veteran's Day song

Today Zoey and her class sang You're a Grand Old Flag for the Veteran's Day assembly. I was so sad to miss it but both Curtis and GiGi were able to go. Zoey was so proud of her Dad and has been singing her song all week! We love you Curtis and thank you for your service!!!

Skate Park with Hugo

Going to the skate park with Hugo has given Zoey more confidence and it's so good for her! I'm glad she is able to get out and get some exercise as lately she just wants to be at my side and play "school".
