This weekend Kara's kids and Zoey got to meet each other for the first time and LOVED each other! Kara and I have been friends since 98 and I always dreamed about our kids being friends. It has been hard being so far away but it was such a treat to all hang out for the weekend. We all met at Seaside and played at the beach most of the time. I can never get enough time with my Kara. Favorite memory was when a group of seagulls flew overhead and Zoey called them turkeys, Jade called them ducks and Alex called them pigeons! Kids are the best :) Saying goodbye was hard as usual.....I HATE IT.....but am thankful for the time we got together.
We then headed to Astoria to say hi to Jrae and then camped at the nearby KOA. It was like having a second vacation with just our little family and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Curtis and I played lots of ping-pong, Zoey learned how to swim and we all enjoyed the free pancake breakfast. This place is perfect for kids/dogs and we definitely want to come again!
