Every year at Zoey's school they do a birthday celebration for each kid. We bring a picture and fun facts about Zoey for each year and a snack for all the kids. Her teacher Emily talks about Zoey's each year and then sings a song and lights a candle. It's a pretty cute tradition. Zoey was shy this year and it took a bit for her to want to show her pictures but after a few years she wanted to show her pictures. I was proud of her for getting up the courage. That’s a wonderful tradition at your daughter’s school. My daughter’s school does something similar. They don’t organize birthday parties for the kids but they have a hall that the parents can use for their children’s birthdays and invite other kids too. Sadly, the hall was being renovated this year so we celebrated my daughter’s birthday this year at a venue NYC.
